throwback mountain... dew.

Did you know Pepsi products like Pepsi and Mountain Dew are going back to using natural sugar, like the good ol' days? Our chemistry teacher (who has too much blood in his mountain dew stream) first told us about it and I saw it in the store today, so I thought why not? It's not too different. It's not as fizzy and bubbly, but don't get me wrong. It's not flat. Oh, and the can looks totally awesome, just the same as retro b-ball jerseys without all the flashy designs.

Other than that, life's good. I've been having an awesome few weeks. It helps that I've made Concert Choir and Hardin Street Harmony, which are really big deals at MLS and to me especially. I look up to my brothers in a way that I can't really explain. My older brothers (and sister too) hold so much importance to me and are my role models. Ever since I was a kid, I've wanted to be like them. Making CC helped because, as Kriegers, we're blessed with natural intelligence and singing (I must not be adopted!) I miss them...

Anysways... Life feels good. Got Animal Crossing: City Folk, which I've been having fun playing. Also got Final Fantasy X and FFX-2, which I need to play. Funny story about that. I was in the mall, went to a used game store, traded in seventeen old games for three new ones and two movies (With ten dollars left over!) and walk next door to the sports store with my stuff. Walk in and the alarms go off. Of course, since I was entering, the guy just took my stuff over and made it not... whatever the adjective for "able to set off alarms in the mall"... and the guy from the used game store, Travis, walked by and said, "Sorry, we don't have those machines!" Haaa... He's an old friend of my brother's...

I started thinking about songwriting, so I'll probably also pick up the guitar soon. I'm already working on one song, and here's what I've got so far...

Here's a song I'd like to sing for you
About a boy and girl like me and you
A long story short, he loved her so.
Short story long, this is how it goes:

(Just made up those last two lines...)

(something in here about his unrequited love)

Was he writing songs that made her laugh
Or was he writing his epitaph?
Oh, who can know?
With candy, flowers, and poetry
He showed how much his love could be
So she would know...

That's it so far. Kayla, since you're the only one who's following this (I type as I laugh quietly to myself), go ahead and comment on it.
